Salsa
Peppy Pete’s started in 2014 with the original recipe, which had been made for decades
by Lisa’s mom Emilie. It is a unique salsa recipe which uses fresh roma tomatoes and
zucchini. This, along with a special combination of spices give this chemical free salsa
its unique flavor. Soon to follow, were the other recipes, now totaling 12. Peppy Pete’s
salsas have won numerous awards over the years including a MN state fair champion, a
University of MN Salsa Fest champion & grand champion as well as 8 international awards including 2 world champions.
Scone Mix
In 1985, Anne Morgan created several wholesome soup mixes as a volunteer in her hometown (Park Rapids) food co-op. When the store closed several years later, customers insisted she continue production of her family-favorite, time-saving mixes. Her husband built an FDA-inspected kitchen on their organic farm—and The Secret Garden was born. She now makes twenty-eight soup and entrée mixes (many featuring Minnesota grown wild rice), an assortment of quick bread mixes, sixteen cheese-ball/dip mixes, and her renowned Wild Rice Seasoning.
Candle
FSR was founded in 2016 by then 14 year old Frederick (FSR). He set out to make old fashioned, all natural soap. His mother, Tina, helped and together they have grown the company to include/specialize in coconut wax candles, lotions and soaps. We have formulated our own wax and many scents. We hope you love the products as much as we do!
Sweedish Cloth
In 2018 Minnesota designer and mom Carla Scholz decided it was time to create something that appealed to her growing interest in all things green. After decades of designing witty T-shirts, totes, and other products—plus hundreds of direct mail catalogs—Scholz found herself searching for an outlet for her creativity that was fun, practical, and useful. Locally owned and operated for over 20 years, we import most of our own teas directly from the tea gardens where the teas are grown.
